About Us

Christ Temple Church of Christ (Holiness, U.S.A. of Vallejo, Ca started out as a Mission endeavor in 1958 in Oakland, Ca.   Members met from home to home then the ten membership Church Mission stabilized and shared the homes of Brother and Sister Talmas and Sister Alberta Craft of Vallejo.

 

On June, 1967, the Mission became organized under Elder Judies Stevenson and his wife. The church grew from a few members to eighty members. Elder Stevenson resigned in December, 1988.

 

In 1989, Elder Hanson Rogers succeeded Elder Stevenson.  The church continued to grow. Elder Hanson Rogers retired in 1991.

 

In 1992, Elder Charles H. Thomas succeeded Elder Hanson Rogers and is now the present Pastor.

 

Elder Charles H. Thomas has a B.A. in Social Science from the University of Berkeley California, and a M.A. from Bay Cities Bible Institute College located in Oakland, CA.
